The Cherrypick Original Magic Playwall is a removable, arch-shaped wall decal that works as a magnet board, chalkboard and whiteboard in one. It measures 100 x 60 cm (about 39 x 24 inches) and is sold in several colors.

What's inside

• 1 arch-shaped Magic Playwall decal, 100 x 60 cm (about 39 x 24 inches)
• An application guide, shipped in a protective tube
• No magnets, chalk or markers are included; they are sold separately

How it works

The 2026 version uses a MagicGrip backing that holds to the wall by micro-suction rather than glue, so it can be removed and repositioned. Once it's up, kids can use it with lightweight magnets and magnetic toys, chalk, dry-erase markers, and water-based washable markers, paints and crayons.

What kids learn

• Drawing and early writing: working on a vertical surface strengthens the shoulders and wrists used for writing
• Creativity: a big, open canvas for drawing, games and magnetic scenes
• Letters and numbers: pair it with magnetic letters, numbers or shapes for hands-on learning

Good to know before you buy

• Age: Cherrypick doesn't list an age for the wall itself. Its magnetic accessories are rated 3 and up, and that's the age we'd use, with supervision around small magnets.
• Budget for extras: you'll need magnets, chalk or markers to use it; the Cherrypick Magic Shape Set is designed to go with it.
• Colors: check the color options on Maisonette before you buy.
• Returns: the listing says returns and cancellations are not accepted once an order is placed.
• Value: $72 at Maisonette (on sale from $80 at the time of writing).

Who it's for

Families who want a play wall that doesn't take up floor space, renters who can't paint or drill, and classrooms looking for a flexible magnet and drawing board.
