Why we LOVE this product!
For a Hello Kitty fan, this is an easy win. The Bitty POP! figures are tiny, under an inch, and the clear cases make each one feel like a proper collectible rather than a throwaway trinket. The stackable display pieces mean the collection builds into something to show off, and the keychain cases let a couple of favorites come along to school.
We also like that the doors are numbered rather than dated, so it can just as easily count down to a birthday or the last day of school.
To be upfront: this is a collector's calendar, not a learning toy, and only 10 of the 24 doors are figures. If your child cares most about the characters, it delivers. If you want building or discovery, look at our STEM advent calendars instead.

How it works
Open one door a day. The figures arrive in hard acrylic cases whose bottom lids detach and double as display bases, and the stackable pieces let kids build a little Hello Kitty display as the collection grows. Two figures can go on keychains to take along. The doors are numbered 1 to 24 rather than dated, so the calendar works for any countdown, not only December.
Good to know before you buy
- Age: listed for ages 6 and up. The figures are small and a choking hazard, so it's not for children under 3.
- Figures: 10 of the 24 doors are figures. The rest are display pieces, accessories and keychain cases.
- Characters: Funko hasn't published the full character list, so expect Hello Kitty plus a mix of her Sanrio friends.
- Size: the box is about 13 x 10 x 3 inches.
- When to order: to start on December 1, order by mid-November.
