FINE MOTOR SKILLS
Playing with play-dough, jigsaw puzzles, drawing, painting, or using scissors are ways children can improve fine motor skills, which is critical for the development of emergent writing. As children improve fine motor skills, they also develop independence in other tasks such as eating and dressing.
