MEEDEN Deluxe All in One Art Painting Set with French Easel 141 Pieces

The MEEDEN Deluxe All-in-One Art Painting Set is a 141-piece kit built around an adjustable French easel, with acrylic, oil, watercolor and gouache paints, 30 brushes, canvases and palettes, so a young artist can try every major painting medium.

What's inside

• 1 French easel in solid beech, adjustable from 57 to 72 in., with a 2-layer storage drawer and shoulder strap
• 24 acrylic paints (22 ml), 24 oil paints (22 ml), 24 watercolors (12 ml) and 24 gouache paints (12 ml)
• 30 brushes: 10 oil, 10 watercolor, 10 acrylic, plus 2 detail brushes
• 6 stretched canvases and panels, 1 watercolor sketchbook and 1 disposable palette pad
• 1 wooden palette, 1 plastic palette and 2 palette knives

How it works

Set the easel up for standing or sitting, choose a medium and a surface, and paint. The drawer keeps the supplies together, and the shoulder strap means the easel can go outside.

What kids learn

• Painting techniques: how acrylic, oil, watercolor and gouache behave differently
• Color mixing: 96 colors to blend and layer
• Creativity and focus: longer, more serious projects

Good to know before you buy

• Age: MEEDEN doesn't publish an age. With oil paints included, we suggest 12 and up, or younger with an adult.
• Oil paints need extra care: they're slow to dry and usually cleaned up with solvents, which need adult supervision and ventilation.
• Size: it's a full-height easel, so it needs floor space.
• Price: $189.95 at MEEDEN at the time of writing (on sale from $269.95).

Who it's for

Teens who are serious about painting, and families who want one complete set rather than buying supplies piece by piece.
