The Raddish Kids Baking Club is a monthly baking kit subscription for ages 8 to 14 and up, with two themed bakes each month, a quick one and a showstopper, plus decorations and a real baking tool.
What's inside each kit
- 2 laminated, illustrated recipe guides: a 12-step Quick Bake and an 18-step Star Bake
- A kid-friendly baking tool to keep
- A themed decorative ingredient or tool, such as candy letters
- Culinary skill cards, a shopping list card and short puzzles and activities
How it works
A new theme arrives each month, from classic pies, breads and cookies to more ambitious bakes like eclairs and tarts. Younger bakers can start with the Quick Bake, and confident kids can take on the Star Bake.

- Kitchen math: measuring, fractions and following quantities
- Reading and following directions: step-by-step illustrated recipes
- Fine motor and safety skills: mixing, cutting and using kitchen tools safely
- Confidence and independence: making something real the whole family eats

Good to know before you buy
- Ingredients are not included: each kit comes with a shopping list card, so you buy fresh groceries yourself. Budget for that on top of the kit price.
- Plans: $28.95 a month, or $25.95 a month on a 6-month plan and $22.95 a month on a 12-month plan, all with free US shipping. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time after the first kit ships; 6- and 12-month plans can't be cancelled mid-term, but you can turn off auto-renewal.
- Raddish Plus: every membership includes free access to Raddish's online library of recipes.
- Oven safety: every bake involves the oven, so younger kids will need a grown-up nearby.

Raddish Kids was founded in 2014 by Samantha Barnes, a former middle school social studies teacher who discovered the educational possibilities of cooking while teaching children culinary skills. Through hands-on lessons, she saw how time in the kitchen could bring subjects such as math, science, history, and culture to life.
